Layers dialog cursor selection improvements 

This commit enhances object selection behavior within the Layers dialog:

- Mass Selection:
  Introduces the ability to select multiple objects at once, regardless
  of their hierarchical level (groups, subgroups, individual objects).

- Multi-Range Selection:
  Enables selection of multiple ranges using the SHIFT + CTRL + Click
  combination.

- Directional Multi-Select Fix:
  Resolves a bug that prevented directional multi-selection using
  SHIFT + Click from working.

- Fix multi-selection in case of filtered objects.
