@doctormo Is there a bug related to this commit? (this has been backported to 1.0.x, and if it's relevant, I'd like to include it into the release notes)

Hi Maren, this is a correction for the previous commit which changed to using ObjectSet (fixes the eraser tool issues). So it doesn't need a new issue and I don't believe needs a note for the release.
