Extensions / gcodetools / engraving: error message "Can not find method tab_preferences"

Steps to reproduce:

• open Inkscape
• Create a line (that is than the selected object)
• Start Extensions / gcodetools / engraving
• Check that the output path is valid
• Click "Apply"

What happened?

Above error, no output file.

What should have happened?
