What

Adds fable-mode, a content-only reasoning-discipline skill (no API key, no scripts, no subprocess) — the same safe category as glm-master-skill. It packages a model-agnostic reasoning playbook (plan before producing, evidence over memory, self-refutation before delivery, lead-with-result, scope discipline, iterative verification loop) plus per-task checklists and anti-patterns.

Why it fits here

  • Documentation-only, no ZHIPU_API_KEY, no executable code → passes review cleanly, same shape as glm-master-skill.
  • Works across every agent architecture the repo targets (Claude Code, OpenCode, OpenClaw, AutoClaw) and applies to GLM-5 and any model the harness runs.
  • The discipline is model-agnostic — it eliminates the avoidable failures (unverified claims, false "done", scope drift) behind most everyday errors.

Changes

  • skills/fable-mode/SKILL.md — the playbook, in the GLM-skills frontmatter convention (metadata.openclaw with requires.env: [], bins: []).
  • README.md — adds a new Reasoning section to the catalog.

Origin & license

Ported from fabdelgado/fable-mode (MIT), where the playbook was extracted from Claude Fable 5 and A/B validated (20/20 task-pair convergence, blind-judge parity). The skill body is contributed to this repo under its Apache-2.0 terms.

Content-only reasoning-discipline skill (no API key, no scripts, no subprocess),
same safe category as glm-master-skill. Ported from fabdelgado/fable-mode to the
GLM-skills convention; body is model-agnostic. Adds a Reasoning section to the catalog.
