The output
arrayis guaranteed to include thestartandstopvalues. Beware, however, that values between thestartandstopare subject to floating-point errors. Hence,var arr = linspace( 0, 1, 3 ); // returns [ 0, ~0.5, 1 ]

arr[1]is only guaranteed to be approximately equal to0.5.
