Revert/don't add a dependency group to defaults if creating it fails #385

Motivation
E.g. adding pytest to test group might fail due to package build issues (encountered in #383). But then uv can't cope with the test group being undefined.
Summary of desired enhancement
Make sure this doesn't happen.
