Motivation
Currently, we are using hynek/setup-cached-uv for GitHub workflows. It looks like Astral is supporting an official way of doing this now via astral-sh/setup-uv . Unless there are prevailing reasons against doing so, it is preferable to use a well-maintained, officially supported solution. The repo for hynek/setup-cached-uv claims it is only semi-experimental.
