I added heap_sort. I also added a duplicate implementation of selection_sort. The implementation that was there I renamed to the author who submitted it. The code was written with inline-maximum, which I felt didn't correspond to the way the algorithm was originally written. Knuth separated selection_sort into 2 parts: Algorithm 1.2.10M (implemented by Program 1.3.2M) and Algorithm 5.2.3S (implemented by Program 5.2.3S). I strongly believe that this separation is beneficial to learning, and so I kept it in the C source code.
