Hi all, I'm a little confused about the I can not find any explanation as to why this feature is deprecated, or any suggested alternatives. Curiously, it is even used in an official demo. Would appreciate to learn some more about the future of this option and possible alternatives. Thanks for your time and effort! |

In the future, by default we'll create anonymous users automatically for analytics, even without Curious on your use case for it though? Definitely want to make sure we cover it one way or another. Is this for some sort of onboarding flow? |

I've thought about this and decided that probably I need to let go of the distinction between "no user" and "anonymous user". It might not be a distinction worth preserving. It's just a technical detail. Treating every user as an anonymous user actually makes the whole infrastructure a lot easier. Continues identity is much more coherent. |
