Automating SQLancer's Testing Workflow #1299

Hi,

I previously applied for GSoC 2025 with SQLancer, where I proposed a project focused on automating SQLancer’s testing workflow using LLM-based agents (covering DBMS setup, test execution, and structured bug report generation).

Although I wasn’t selected, I remain very interested in contributing to SQLancer and would like to continue working on this idea independently.

As a starting point, I’ve already developed a small Python prototype that automates parts of this workflow. I’ll be attaching a short demo video to showcase the current progress. I plan to keep building on top of this and gradually improve the automation.(currently it support postgress andd mysql )

Before moving further, I wanted to ask:

Does this direction align with SQLancer’s goals and future plans?
Are there specific areas where this kind of automation would be most useful?
Any suggestions or constraints I should consider while designing this?

I’d really appreciate your feedback. I’m happy to iterate and contribute in a way that best fits the project.
