Markdown LaTeX is OK for small simple math, not for big fancy stuff. (I was surprised \displaystyle actually worked in this example I typed above.)

It worked, but it's still behaving a bit weird. It has no issue in chromium (besides being small), but in firefox:



It cuts off a little at the end, then displays a small horizontal scrollbar.

Still, I might use it for simple stuff indeed. (If only I properly knew latex... but that's on me.)
