I have a script that contains this line:

echo "$IP $HOSTNAME" >> /etc/hosts

This script is always executed as root, running the test fails because of this warning:

WARNING: There was output to stderr but not found expectation
stderr: test.sh: line 3: /etc/hosts: Permission denied

How can I mock this so I don't need sudo to run the test?
