This is one way to solve Task 7 in https://robertheaton.com/2019/04/14/open-source-for-advanced-beginners-1-bashplotlib/ . There are many ways to solve this problem, and this one is by no means the best!

Test

I ran:

from bashplotlib.horizontal_histogram import plot_horiz_hist

plot_horiz_hist(
    'scratch_data.txt',
    title='Horizontal Histogram!',
    ylab=True,
    show_summary=True)

with some data in a file called scratch_data.txt, and got:
