You have no idea how awesome it feels to finally have the first official version of Merlin WP released. After many months of development, Merlin WP 1.0 is finally here! Welcome better on-boarding for WordPress themes!

Merlin WP wouldn’t be what it is today without the support of the fantastic WordPress community. Thanks to everyone who made this possible! If you're using Merlin WP in your projects, let me know!

Due to recent work on the Merlin WP, @richtabor, @capuderg and I believe that the project is getting closer to the stable release (1.0.0). The majority of the work since the latest beta has been done on the demo importer functionality which is now using the core from the OCDI.

Planned stable release: Wednesday, March 7. Please test it thoroughly and report any issues or missing documentation.

I've added the widgets functionality, so now the wizard will unset default widgets within the primary widget area, before adding the widgets specified in the widgets.wie file.

Also, there's been some cleaning up, PHPCS and a few odds and ends.
