The tests were too flaky, and the procedure for legitimately
updating versions of software too onerous, to warrant continually
testing these.

LGTM. Would prefer to leave the TestCollectEnv.test_smoke test (it checks if the output is greater than 17 lines) but I guess that isn't very effective in the first place
