Some advice from Travis Oliphant #393

Description

@billtubbs

I was on a live broadcast by Travis Oliphant just now on Twitter and mention this project. He said he was not aware of it but seemed quite excited about it.

You can listen to the replay here (go to 35:30 mins).

His advice was:

  1. Documentation and user stories
  2. Get people teaching and showing it—giving talks at PyCon, PyData, ...
  3. List the project on Open Teams
  4. Think about the name 'Python-Control'. Might be some semantic overload there. Scikit-Control?

In the docs, "go front-and-centre" with user stories.

He said he might be able to provide more specific advice too if one of you main authors want to contact him (by email, OpenTeams Slack).
