open(), io.open(), codecs.open() and fileinput.FileInput no longer
accept "U" ("universal newline") in the file mode. This flag was
deprecated since Python 3.3.

@ambv: Thanks for the merge. Let's see how it goes. In the worst case, we have time before Python 3.11 final to revert it one more time. |
