I have no idea why all the past junk was pulled in. Perhaps because I created PR from fork branches list instead o python/cpython. I created branch in clone after fresh fetch and update. But this is 2nd try and I don't want to restart CI. |

I don't think this needs a news entry. The test failure of the bpo-30917 patch could alternatively have been reported there. |
