Reproduction steps

  1. Start Pear Desktop for the first time since boot
  2. Volume bar is at desired level, however actual volume is as if maxed out
  3. Moved bar away and back to desired level to get desired volume level

Expected Behavior

For some reason on my first boot when using the app, the volume is fully maxed out which is very loud for me. Only after I move the volume slider does it fix itself. How can I fix this issue? I know I could probably just lower it in volume mixer but this seems like a band-aid fix for an issue rather than a solution. Is this just happening to me? I couldn't find another post talking about it. Thank you in advance.

Actual Behavior

I expect to open the application and the volume meter to be at the same spot I left it at, and the volume output to be the same as well.
