So the InvalidDNSError is most likely a stale result from before the move to Cloudflare. The DNS check does not always re-run on its own after a nameserver change. To force a fresh check:
Keep both records on DNS only (grey cloud) in Cloudflare, as you have now. If the check still fails after re-adding the domain, run |

Subject: GitHub Pages custom domain — InvalidDNSError despite correct DNS configuration
Hello GitHub Support,
I am experiencing a persistent DNS verification issue with my GitHub Pages website.
Repository: https://github.com/AlexaSTRELA/tebicamp-new
Custom domain: tebicamp.ru
Error: DNS check unsuccessful (InvalidDNSError)
The website is published successfully on GitHub Pages, but GitHub cannot validate my custom domain or complete HTTPS certificate provisioning.
I have already taken the following steps:
Despite these steps, GitHub continues to report InvalidDNSError. HTTPS is unavailable, and the TLS certificate provisioning process does not complete.
Could you please investigate why GitHub Pages cannot validate this domain?
In particular, could you check whether there is a DNS validation issue, stale cached DNS information, or a certificate provisioning problem affecting this domain?
Please let me know what needs to be corrected.
Thank you for your assistance.
