Hello,
I cannot verify ownership of my custom domain wald-ai.ru in GitHub. Every attempt returns:
We were unable to verify ownership of wald-ai.ru. We couldn't find the TXT record.
Account: karaulanoa-coder
Domain: wald-ai.ru (DNS provider: reg.ru, nameservers ns1.reg.ru and ns2.reg.ru)

DNS record (added about a week ago, edited recently):
Type: TXT
Name: _github-pages-challenge-karaulanoa-coder.wald-ai.ru
Value: da61c8716aeffabc0c870c507fc5b0
What I checked:
The record is published on both authoritative nameservers (ns1.reg.ru and ns2.reg.ru) and returns the same value as the token shown in GitHub.
The record is visible on public resolvers: Google (8.8.8.8), Cloudflare (1.1.1.1), Quad9 (9.9.9.9), and Yandex (77.88.8.8). Each returns exactly da61c8716aeffabc0c870c507fc5b0, with no duplicate or stale TXT records on that name.
The token is 30 hex characters. I checked it byte by byte and it is not truncated.
The value has no quotes or extra spaces.
Other records for the domain:
wald-ai.ru A 185.199.108.153, .109.153, .110.153, .111.153
www.wald-ai.ru CNAME karaulanoa-coder.github.io.
The site serves correctly over HTTP (returns 200). Over HTTPS it still presents the certificate CN=*.github.io, so no certificate has been issued for wald-ai.ru.
What I tried:
Verify on github.com/settings/pages, repeated several times over more than 24 hours.
Removing the custom domain from the repository (ai-creator-portfolio), saving, and adding it again.
Replacing the TXT value with the current token and waiting for it to propagate.
Questions:
Is wald-ai.ru currently claimed or locked by another account, and can it be released?
Why does the verification check fail to find a record that is publicly resolvable?
Could a previous configuration of the domain (the www CNAME formerly pointed to olegwald.github.io, another account of mine with no public repositories) still be blocking verification?
I can provide DNS query output, screenshots of the Verify error, or a TXT record change if needed.
