it's because the prompt is meant to work on a certain dark color background. you'll have to change the script to make it match your background color.

During the day I use a light theme, and in the evening I use a dark one) via

Is there any way to make it adapt depending on the background?

You could but your terminal would have to support querying the background color with ansi escapes and the term query command and then using that color. It's not built into oh-my.nu because it's not widely supported. That's the beauty of a script, you can just make changes.
