Bug description
I installed netdata v2.10.3 with kickstart.sh and enabled netdata-updater.sh as systemd-timer. The updater failed every time since v2.10.4 is available. The log complains about google-protobuf missing. After installing dev-libs/protobuf the updater runs just fine.
Expected behavior
emerge -v --noreplace app-arch/lz4 app-arch/zstd dev-libs/json-c dev-libs/libuv dev-libs/libyaml dev-libs/openssl flex net-libs/libmnl net-misc/curl sys-apps/util-linux sys-libs/zlib virtual/libelf
should include dev-libs/protobuf
Steps to reproduce
- run /usr/libexcec/netdata/netdata-updater.sh without dev-libs/protobuf installed.
