Summary

  • Add Ruby 3.4 with MSYS2 DevKit workload via winget configure
  • Include install shim, hello-world test, and manifest entry for CI
  • Document the new workload in README and development guide

Notes

  • Uses RubyInstallerTeam.RubyWithDevKit.3.4 (Ruby 3.4 + MSYS2 DevKit) so gems with C extensions can compile out of the box.
  • Follows the same pattern as Go/Python: single winget package, thin install shim, hello-world test.
  • CI should auto-discover the new flow from manifest.yml — no workflow changes needed.

Test plan

  • CI picks up ruby flow from manifest.yml automatically
  • winget configure applies src/Workloads/ruby/configuration.winget
  • Hello-world test prints Hello, world! and matches expected.txt

Add Ruby 3.4 with MSYS2 DevKit via winget configure, including install shim, hello-world test, and manifest entry for CI.
