When Regatta Timer is on the 'Start' screen (before the start), it does not show the current time / clock. Our races usually start at a fixed time (e.g. 19:25), so it would be nice to see the current time.
Perhaps instead of showing the 'fixed' 5:00, we could see the current time ? This is also very useful for races where each boat has a unique start-time (based on their handicap), and the finish is at a specific time (our sailing club likes to mix regular starts with these 'catch-up' races). If the screen shows the current time, we would know when to press 'Start' 5 minutes before our start-time.
Alternative is to have the stock Android 'Clock' app running, then switch to Regatta Timer at the last minute. But I would prefer to have this feature in the app.
Another suggestion for this otherwise great app:
- Allow other starting procedures (e.g. 6 3 GO or 10 9 1 GO)
- Allow for a 1 minute marker before that start procedure begins
