Pins Flicker During Zoom Out #2732
Description
Environment
- Android OS version: 12
- Devices affected: OnePlus 7 (GM1903)
- Maps SDK Version: 11.30.1 (com.mapbox.maps:android-ndk27, via mapbox_maps_flutter 2.30.1)
Observed behavior and steps to reproduce
Using a GeoJSON source of Point features and a SymbolLayer on it with an image, icon-anchor: bottom, icon-allow-overlap: true, icon-ignore-placement: true. While zooming out the pin jitters/twitches/flickers around the point (seems to only affect zooming out, or at least much more as far as I can tell).
- Happens on a lone pin with nothing near it, so it is not clustering or collision.
- Also happens with clustering
- I tested with both globe and flat mercator projection and it happened in both cases
- The source data is not updated during the gesture.
Expected behavior
It doesn't jump around.
