Fairly frequently, I want to install current git to fix a bug. However, git-1 is less than any numeric version, so this doesn't have the desired effect.
The magic version scm does, so can we have that as well?
The reason I suggest duplicating rather than renaming the rockspec is that equally one often wants to install git to play with, without replacing installed released versions.
