With this patch, all Surface touchpads are properly detected without any
overrides required. HID_QUIRK_NO_INIT_REPORTS is also not needed because
that's the default for hid-multitouch.

Thanks! This looks good to me, but could you open a PR against https://github.com/qzed/linux-surface-kernel/tree/v5.3-surface-devel instead? I'm trying to have all the code changes documented and centralized there, with PRs etc. I'll merge the changes back here after. (Just git revert 8902494c240cb435a4400e4e30bfc4697fd5597a (HID patch) and then git am your patch.)
