An incorrect cast is causing #intervalStepSize to choke on Bignums. Running the following illustrates the issue:

jruby -e "p 5.step(2**64).size"

(About to send a pull fixing this... just wanted to get this issue in so I had something to point to in the regression test I'm adding)
