Is your enhancement related to a problem?
Shouldn't it be possible to activate summer-mode depending on todays forecast e.g. maximum daily temperature instead of the live outdoor temperature (or something combined)?
Today is a good example here in Germany: Current outdoor temperature 15°C, maximum forceast: 26°C, With my Summer limit at 23°C this will let sun in the whole morning until the outdoor temperature reaches 23°C regardless of room temperature. As our apartment is very sensitive to solar entry this would mean uncomfortable temperatures in the evening even if nights are moderate.
Describe the solution you'd like
Allow to select a Forecast entity and use it's maximum daily temperature instead of the current temperature, or add a setting to use the already configured entity from the light and cloud section.
Alternatives you've considered
Creating a template sensor from the forecast and use this as the temperature setting. May work but it's not that elegant.
Additional context
No response
