I was wondering if there's a way to get the glare zone to absolute zero. Reasoning: It's quite hot outside, and even with the glare set at 0.1m (minimum that I can set) the window frame at the bottom still gets hit by the sun, basically heating up a little. Is there a way to get the glare zone lower, so it closes lower? |

Just to clarify the terminology: what you're hitting is actually the Shaded Distance setting, not the glare zone pipeline step. It's the floor that prevents the blind from closing all the way to the frame. Right now the minimum is 0.1 m, and you're right that 0 should be valid. I've filed #427 to track removing that artificial floor. In the meantime, if heat is the main concern, Climate Mode is probably the better tool. It lets you set an indoor temperature threshold above which the blind goes to 0% regardless of sun position, so on hot days you'd get full closure before the Shaded Distance change ships. For details, see the Climate Mode wiki page. |

To clarify: you're hitting the Shaded Distance floor (min 0.1 m), not the glare zone pipeline step — the glare handler just decides whether to engage, Shaded Distance sets how far the blind closes when it does. I've filed #427 to remove that 0.1 m artificial floor. For the heat case in the meantime, Climate Mode is the more direct tool — set an indoor temperature threshold and the blind goes to 0% on hot days regardless of sun geometry.
