This caused a syntax error from the bash shell.

We had this problem in the past, but it should have been fixed already. Are you sure that you are using the most-current version of IPython? |

This was causing a syntax error from the bash shell to be thrown. I am not sure how specific it is to my setup, but this should always work (I think?)
