Translating

We're always looking for new localizations of Contributor Covenant and are thankful to the volunteers who spend their time on translations. Now, thanks to @wfdd, there is a Pandoc HTML generation template for v1.4 of the CoC.

If you are interested in doing a translation, follow these steps:

  • Fork the repo and make a branch for your translation.
  • Create a markdown file with your translation in version/1/4/YOURTWOLETTERLANGUAGECODE/code_of_conduct.md
  • Open a pull request.
  • We will put out a call to have one or more other native speakers review the translation.
  • Collaborate until the translation is satisfactory.
  • Create two additional files: a text file (code_of_conduct.txt), and an HTML file (code_of_conduct.htm).
  • Add a link to your translation files to i8tn/index.html
  • We will merge your translation!
