They are part of the repo because it is easiest way for us to store them in a very accessible way. But we need to revisit the naming of the performance test result files and make them compatible with windows. This is an oversight on our end: we only run and test on mac and linux, no windows. cc @dondonz |

I tried to clone this project on Windows, but failed to check out the content in performance-tests. I think the filename is invalid under Windows system.
