Proposed Feature

I have developed a version that implements an "Indicator Resize" (Ghost Resize) mode. Instead of resizing the column immediately, a vertical line (indicator) follows the cursor to show the potential new width. The actual column resize only occurs on the mouseup event.

Question for the Maintainers
I would love to contribute this to the repository. Are you interested in a Pull Request that includes this option? If so, do you have any specific preferences regarding the naming of the configuration property or its default behavior?
