This PR adds a new Tier 2 – Intermediate project idea called Gig Connect.
The platform enables users to find and offer small, local task-based gigs such as plant-watering, grocery pickup, tutoring, or dog-walking — helping people earn extra income through quick, community-based tasks.

Core Features

  • User sign-up and login
  • Post a gig with task details and payment info
  • Browse gigs based on location/region
  • Apply for gigs and coordinate via messaging
  • Mark gigs as completed

Bonus (Optional)

  • Ratings & reviews for gig posters and workers
  • Map integration to display nearby gigs
  • Smart gig recommendations based on skills and history
  • Payment gateway integration

Tech Notes

  • Requires user authentication and location filtering
  • Suggested stack: Firebase Auth + Firestore / any database
  • Optional: Mapbox for maps, Razorpay for payments
