Hello! This PR:

  • Adds "waypoints" at the start of the main README, to direct users to different material
  • Improves the task descriptions, in order to...
  • ...Summarise the entire workshop into logical, and hopefully memorable units.

It also has the side-effect of anticipating material that isn't there yet, or is in progress elsewhere. Just wanted to have working links for now.

I intend for this to be reviewed and merged now so we have a better direction for what we have left to do. As I explained in 2b16568, I don't know if the task list will remain here, but we'll use it to keep our content on track.

Waypoint/introduction section at the top should stay.

Reordered the

Not sure yet at this point if the task list will remain in its current form right here. It's certainly useful for teachers & tutors to understand the workshop at a glance, but for students, sections will definitely be more useful.

Just a note here - these are not automatically turned to links by Github. I didn't know if you wanted them to be, as sometimes profiles are a ship graveyard of stale public repos :D
