An idea for now, I'm tempted to do it. I propose getting rid of the subplot docks. Right now I think 90% of our usecase for the "docked panels" on each subplot is just the histogram LUT widget. We could replace it with an imgui UI.
Every viewport has a performance impact of a few ms and it adds up quick when every image has a subplot dock panel.
Are there other use cases for the docks?
