Pre-flight checklist

Motivation

Fixes #12743.

Chrome displays a deprecation warning for the apple-mobile-web-app-capable meta tag and recommends including mobile-web-app-capable.

This change adds the standard mobile-web-app-capable meta tag with the value yes to the website's PWA configuration while preserving the existing Apple-specific meta tags.

Test Plan

  • Ran git diff --check successfully.
  • Pre-commit ESLint checks passed.
  • Pre-commit formatting checks passed.
  • Verified the generated HTML in the Netlify deploy preview. Both the standard and Apple-specific meta tags are present.

Author

Thanks for the review. @coderabbitai

This PR is a small, static website configuration change in website/docusaurus.config.ts. The generated HTML was verified in the Netlify Deploy Preview, confirming that both mobile-web-app-capable and the existing apple-mobile-web-app-capable meta tags are present in <head>.

Since this change only updates the website configuration, I have kept the PR focused rather than adding a separate plugin test that would not verify the actual website configuration.

@anishagrawal25 Thanks for clarifying. I checked website/docusaurus.config.ts: both capability meta tags have content: 'yes', and the existing Apple metadata remains intact.

Your reported Deploy Preview check verifies the actual website output. A separate plugin test would not verify this configuration, so keeping this PR focused is reasonable.

Learning: For facebook/docusaurus PR #12744, the change in website/docusaurus.config.ts is scoped to the website's static PWA metadata. The author verified both mobile-web-app-capable and apple-mobile-web-app-capable in the Netlify Deploy Preview HTML. A separate plugin test would not verify this website configuration.
