When trying to overwrite metadata for jpeg file called img.avif I'm getting this error:

Error: Not a valid AVIF (looks more like a JPEG) - img.avif

Isn't it possible to just ignore this and still overwrite the metadata? Since it is able to read it, it should normally be able to overwrite it.
