When I replaced every PHPAPI with PHP_REDIS_API (like it was in the PHP 5-version), I could leave out the PHP_EXPORTS flag and the _basic_globals problem was fixed as well. Without workarounds.
FYI: No extension in my builds has the PHP_EXPORTS flag.
