[docs-scanner] Incorrect Docker Engine version claim in multi-platform.md #26371

Issue

The Prerequisites section states that Docker Engine 29.0+ uses the containerd image store by default:

Multi-platform images require an image store that supports manifest lists.
Docker Desktop and Docker Engine 29.0+ use the
containerd image store by default,
which supports multi-platform images out of the box.

Docker Engine 29.0 has not been released yet. The current stable Docker Engine versions are in the 27.x range (as of early 2025). This version claim makes readers question whether the documentation reflects current reality.

Why this matters

When documentation references unreleased versions as if they're available, it creates confusion about:

  • What version users should actually be running
  • Whether the feature is available now or in the future
  • Whether the documentation is up-to-date or contains stale information

Readers following this documentation may waste time looking for Docker Engine 29.0 or wonder if their current version supports the feature.

Suggested fix

Update the version claim to reflect the actual version where containerd image store became the default, or remove the specific version number and use language like "recent versions" if the exact version is uncertain. Alternatively, if containerd image store is not yet the default in released versions, reframe this as a future feature and provide clear guidance on how to enable it manually in current versions.
