[ ] Need better visibility into retry system and process. It should be rare that files need to be retried. How any times on average does a file get retried? What type of logging / alerts do we see with that?

A related concept may actually be improving the UI batch grouping visibility. If as an end user I can easily see "500 uploaded, 5 failed, 10 retried etc" that may help without having to a big back end analytics on it.

In theory there is an auto retry process but it does not seem to be very robust
