unit-test.yml's test-php job tested every PHP 7.x minor individually
(7.0, 7.1, 7.2, 7.3, 7.4) plus both PHP 8.x minors it declared (8.0, 8.1,
8.2), for 8 entries total. Per WordPress core's PHP compatibility policy,
wp/6.3 supports PHP 7.0-7.4 and 8.0-8.2 (5.6 was dropped at this exact
release). This project's convention is to test only the lowest and highest
supported minor version per major PHP version, not every minor in between,
since intermediate minors add CI time without adding meaningfully different
coverage.
Changed the php: matrix from:
7.0, 7.1, 7.2, 7.3, 7.4, 8.0, 8.1, 8.2
to:
7.0, 7.4, 8.0, 8.2
No other part of the job (multisite:, the PHP < 7.2 Composer-package
removal condition, runs-on, etc.) was touched.
