Just initialize the UICollectionViewCenterLayout object and set it as the collectionViewLayout of your UICollectionView:

let layout = UICollectionViewCenterLayout()
layout.estimatedItemSize = CGSize(width: 140, height: 40)
collectionView.collectionViewLayout = layout
