This is simply how client-side JavaScript works. Because Dark Reader has to modify the page styling to make it dark, the website has full technical capability to inspect its own elements and report what it finds. Dark Reader cannot prevent websites from analyzing their own page content.

ive thankfully been able to mask my timezone and res and fonts

but yeah if most web sites are watching for dark reader then that makes my finger print much more noticeable
