astroterm eventually desyncs from local time #77

One thing that I realise as I run astroterm in the background, and suspend/sleep my laptop, carrying it from place to place, is that the time it is projecting for starts to lag behind.

I understand this is due to time simulation, but its a bit odd for me personally to have it suddenly lag 30min, 1h, 2h behind over longer periods of time, especially when i want it to be a pretty background display.

Would it make sense to, either;

  • Add a flag that periodically checks local time to the simulated time, and syncs it if it doesn't match up, or;
  • Have it automatically sync if local time is implied (no flags, or the time flag matches the local time on start), or;
  • Have it keep an internal reference point/clock of the time started, and apply time effects/increases from that, compared to local time?
