👋 Hi, I’m Alex – a .NET backend engineer who turns legacy chaos into clean, scalable systems.

🏥 MedTech and Real-World Integrations

  • Built ORMService, a dynamic HL7-to-Database mapper over raw TCP sockets using .NET Core.

    • Uses reflection and a JSON-based mapping config to parse various HL7 formats.
    • Powers hospital systems with reliable, real-time data ingestion.
  • Created Windows services and APIs for:

    • Uploading lab results to national portals (REST & SOAP).
    • Handling diagnostic exam referrals.
    • Managing HL7 over TCP/IP and mapping into EF Core models.

🛠️ Tech Stack

  • Languages: C#, SQL, TypeScript
  • Frameworks: .NET Core (6-10), ASP.NET MVC, Blazor, Entity Framework Core
  • Frontend: Angular, MudBlazor, Bootstrap
  • Protocols: TCP/IP, HL7, MQTT, REST, SOAP
  • DevOps: Linux, Nginx, systemd, Aspire.NET, WireGuard VPN
  • Databases: SQL Server, PostgreSQL, LiteDB, MariaDB, SqlLite

🚀 Projects

  • Pastebin Clone with soft deletes, IP tracking, expiring public posts, and sanitized HTML.
  • Medical Referral System that builds API payloads from complex ERP systems and posts to external platforms.
  • Notification Dispatcher using System.Threading.Channels and Polly for email/SMS queuing and retries.

🧠 Philosophy

Build it like someone’s going to depend on it.
Secure it like someone’s going to attack it.
Simplify it like you’ll be maintaining it at 3AM.
