ImageType

What kind of file the image holds. The type decides what the platform does with the file, so choose it carefully. Firmware (whole operating-system images): - fw: a complete firmware bundle for creating devices, such as an iOS IPSW or a Corellium .coreimg package. Install it cluster-wide with installFirmware, or upload it at domain level (no projectId or instanceId) so device creation can find it. - fwpackage: another name for fw. It is stored as fw, and v3 responses report fw images as fwpackage. - iotfirmware: firmware for IoT and embedded device models, such as an ELF executable, a raw binary, or a ZIP with a LOAD.TXT load map. - fwbinary: another name for iotfirmware. v3 responses report iotfirmware images as fwbinary. - fwasset: a JSON file of firmware assets (for example decryption keys), not firmware itself. Install it with installFirmwareAssets. - clbi: a Cellebrite firmware image. Like fw, a Cellebrite firmware image uploaded at domain level (no projectId or instanceId) is offered as a choice when you create a device. Files for a specific device: - partition: replacement contents for one storage partition of a device. The platform needs a device model to check it against: attach it to a device with instanceId, or pass flavor on the image-upload routes. name must be a partition that model lets users upload. - Other types such as kernel, devicetree, ramdisk, media and extension name the kind of file; the endpoint that uses each one describes it. MATRIX files (always attached to an instance, and never replaced by later uploads): - mast-wordlist: a text file of sensitive values for a MATRIX assessment to search for. - mast-frida: a Frida script to load during a MATRIX assessment. - mast-report: a report generated by MATRIX. Created by the platform, not uploaded. Some types require a license feature. Using one your license does not include fails with 403.
