If I use the --fill flag I'd expect it to fill the body with the verbatime commit messages. Instead it adds undesired bold formatting and a list:

- **Title Body More**
- **Another title Another Body**

Also the PR title is just the branch name.

If I use the --web --fill-verbose flag I'd expect it to fill the body of the PR web form with:

Title

Body
More

Another title

Another Body

Instead it adds no body at all.

Am I using this wrong? Is there some sort of config?

I'm on gh version 2.86.0 (2026-01-21)
